Updated over 9 months ago

Having network connection issues with Mysterium VPN on your Android device can be frustrating. Don't worry! This guide will help you troubleshoot and have a smooth VPN experience.

  1. Verify Your Internet Connection (Wi-Fi or Mobile Data)
    โ€‹
First, check if your Android device has a stable internet connection. Confirm this by opening a web browser or using other apps without the VPN.

  2. Update the Mysterium VPN App
Make sure to have the newest Mysterium VPN app on your Android device. Check for updates on the Google Play Store. Updating the app can fix compatibility problems and enhance performance.

  3. Restart Your Device
Restarting your Android device can fix temporary VPN issues. Hold down the power button and select "Restart" to reboot.

  4. Change VPN Server
Connectivity issues can occur due to the current VPN server. To resolve this, switch to a different server within the Mysterium VPN app. Open the app, go to the server selection screen, and select a new server.

  5. Reset Network Settings
Resetting network settings can fix network configuration problems. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth to do this.
โ€‹Note that this will delete saved Wi-Fi passwords, so you must reconnect to Wi-Fi networks later.

  6. Reinstall the Mysterium VPN App
If earlier methods didn't work, you can attempt to fix the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the Mysterium VPN app on your Android device. Find the app on your home screen, long-press it, select "Uninstall," and then go to the Google Play Store to reinstall it.

If you still have network connection issues after following the steps, contact our support team. They will help you troubleshoot and solve any problems you have while using Mysterium VPN on your Android device.
