How to Refresh Your IP and Rotate Servers for Improved VPN Performance

Enhancing Your Mysterium VPN Experience by Resolving Server Connectivity Issues

Updated over a week ago

Mysterium VPN, being the leader of decentralized VPN (dVPN) services, always strives to provide top-notch service for all your privacy needs. However, in some cases, performance issues can happen; this is simply unavoidable. Though there is no need to scratch your head - solutions are right there, just a few clicks away!

The most common solution is to simply rotate the IP address (or “server” in traditional VPN language) in the Mysterium VPN app.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Start the Mysterium VPN application on your device;

  2. Connect to any node that you need;

  3. If the connection is unstable or not performing well, locate the “Refresh IP” button at the top-left of the app;

  4. Once you press this button, your current VPN connection will be disconnected, and after a few moments, a new one will be established, providing you with a new IP address.

If the connection is still unstable after the IP refresh, you should try connecting to a different country altogether. After all, the selection is HUGE, and if there is no specific need for a certain country, trying out a different one is always a good idea.

Finally, if connectivity issues persist even after refreshing the IP address and trying out a different country, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Support team via live chat on our website or inside your app, our various social media channels or email [email protected]. We will help you achieve the flawless connection that Mysterium VPN has to offer!
