This guide will help you use Mysterium VPN on your Mac. It will teach you how to install the app, set up your account, connect to VPN servers while increasing your privacy and security. It is useful for new users and those upgrading from a previous version.
Installing Mysterium VPN
To install Mysterium VPN on your macOS device, please find the Mysterium VPN application on the Apple App Store and proceed with the usual installation process. In case further assistance is required, please refer to this article.
Alternatively, navigate to the Downloads page directly and click "Download for Mac" here.
Creating an Account
To create an account, open up the Mysterium VPN application and press the “Sign in to Mysterium VPN” button. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
If you already have an account, simply log in with the email address you used for registration.
Navigating the App
Once you are logged in, you will see the app’s main window:
On this screen, you can see your connection status, the server list (note that Residential IPs are not available at Basic plans), access settings, and the live chat function.
If you wish to connect to a server, you can press the Connect button to establish a connection automatically. You can also scroll through the servers list to choose a server at a specific location (city).
You can access the settings by pressing the gear icon next to the Mysterium VPN logo. There, you can change language settings, the application’s theme, access billing options and manage your subscription, select desired transport protocol (WireGuard or OpenVPN), disable/enabled IP refresh feature and log out of your account.
