MysteriumVPN now offers router support so you can protect all devices in your home (phones, TVs, consoles, computers, etc.) by connecting your router directly to the VPN.
This is especially useful for devices that don’t support our app.
💡 Note:
This works only on WireGuard-compatible routers (most modern routers running OpenWrt, GL.iNet, Asus, etc.).
Keep in mind that only 1 router configuration is available per account, and it consumes 1 device slot.
Generate and Download
Log in to your account on our website. Next to the Router Protection card, click on Get Router config.
Or alternatively, head to 'My Devices' To reveal the Router Protection card to get router config and view your devices & available slots
Select your preferred VPN server type, location, and click on Get Router config
💡 Note:
For routers specifically, we recommend selecting High-Speed (Data-Center) to have consistent uptime and speed.
For Country, we suggest selecting the one that is closest to your physical location.
If you have already created a key pair, simply press I have a key pair, and enter your public key.Once the config is generated, click on the Download config Button:
How to reveal configuration file settings
After downloading configuration file (see above), you can open it using any text editor, such as Notepad, TextEdit and similar.
How to remove the config file
If you want to change server IP type or location, you will have to remove the current configuration file and refresh the website before generating a new one.
Head back to the Dashboard -> Home page -> Remove Router Config
